Adventure
Adventures are similar to a quest system for your hero. There are no tasks you need to do within these adventures. All you need to do is to send your hero to an adventure located on the map. Once it has arrived, the hero will explore that spot on the map and return to your village automatically if it survives.
Adventures spawn randomly around capital and the villages that have an hero's mansion. It is not bound to the hero's home village or to the location where hero is currently situated.
The damage inflicted for each adventure varies and increases slightly from adventure to adventure. Before you send your hero to an adventure you see the level of difficulty. “Normal” Adventures are pretty easy. The damage taken by your hero and the experience gained is low. Even “heavy” adventures will not kill a hero with 100% health usually, but the damage inflicted is way higher and the experience gained is doubled. The location of the adventure (oasis, wilderness, Natarian village, and so on) has no impact on the damage inflicted to your hero. An adventure located on a mountain is as dangerous as an adventure within a Natarian village. You can lower the damage inflicted to your hero by increasing the fighting strength of your hero. There are two ways to do that. Several items add fighting strength to your hero. But you can also increase the fighting strength of your hero by adding some skill points to that ability during a level up.
Adventures available can be seen on the map. There is also a list of all available adventures within the hero panel. There are several things a hero is able to find when encountering an adventure.
- Nothing (except damage and experience)
- Armour/Weapon (any level of quality possible)
- Equipment
- Silver
- Resources
- Scattered troops
There have been many questions about the varying rewards people get from their first 10 adventures. What you should know is that everyone pretty much gets the same rewards and outcomes from the first 10 adventures they take. The following is a list of what you will get in your first adventures:
- 1x nothing but experience
- 1x Horse
- 2x resources
- 2x silver
- 1x Troops (basic unit of own tribe, 3 units to be exact)
- 1x a number of cages
- 1x a book of wisdom
- 1x a number of ointments
The rewards will always be the same, as stated above – only the order they are received in is different. This means, of course, that you will not necessarily get these items/rewards in the order I’ve listed them. After that, the rewards and items found are random, but everyone has the same chance of finding something valuable, regardless of account size and other factors.
Adventure Spawn Rate
At activation you get 3 adventures.
In addition you get on a 1x speed server:
- day 0 - 2: 3 adventures / day
- day 3 - 16: 2 adventures / day
- day 17 - 63: 1.5 adventures / day
- day 64 - server end: 1 adventures / day
The day count starts from account activation, NOT from the server start. So, during first 24 hours there are 5-6 adventures to be done. The spawn is semi-random within the day, it may even be that at later game you receive two adventures on one day but zero on the next. In that case, in order to finish the daily tasks, you would need to save up the adventure "extra" adventure for next day.
Because a 3x speed server is running 3 times as fast, you would receive the adventures 3x faster than on a 1x speed server, as follows:
- day 0: 9 adventures / day
- day 1 - 5.33: 6 adventures / day
- day 5.33 - 21: 4.5 adventures / day
- day 21 - server end: 3 adventures / day
Item tier dates
On regular servers:
- Level 1: until day 70 of server
- Level 2: days 70 - 140 of server
- Level 3: starting on day 140 of server
On the annual birthday special servers (like Path to Pandora):
- Level 1: until day 50 of server
- Level 2: days 50 - 110 of server
- Level 3: starting on day 110 of server
Day amounts are for 1x speed.
In general, on a 2x speed world the level 2 and level 3 items appear twice as fast as on a 1x speed world. On a 3x speed world they appear 3 times as fast as on a 1x speed world.
Any changes for special worlds will be detailed below.
For Codex Victoria X2
- Level 1: until day 25 of server
- Level 2: days 25 - 55 of server
- Level 3: starting on day 55 of server
